Shakespeare on the Fly. No rehearsal. No Set. Just Shakespeare's text and a love of the unexpected.
Our Mission:
to go into communities & delight audiences with the pleasure, vitality, and accessibility of Shakespeare's language, while simultaneously taking that audience on an exploration of the provocative human themes that exist with his plays.

We are comprised of a group of professional actors highly skilled in performing Shakespeare. What brings us together is a desire to perform Shakespeare's plays in a way akin to the way they have been performed in his day. That is - actors gather for the first time with lines already memorized and have rehearsal called "Burbage Time" (after Shakespeare's leading player Richard Burbage) in which entrances, exits, brawls, kisses, chases & dances are established. Then they sleep on it and perform for an audience the next day. What happens is nothing short of magical - the audience and actors are working out the story together in real time.
